The Diesel Technician Apprentice works alongside a knowledgeable Casella Waste Diesel Technician to learn and further develop skills. The Apprentice provides maintenance, repairs vehicles and equipment, and mainly focuses on preventative maintenance and maintaining the safety of all vehicles and equipment. The Diesel Technician Apprentice will continue in this role until they compete all training requirements.   The starting hourly rate for this position is $18-$24 per hour depending upon experience. 

The Depot Attendant assists and oversees the usage of the Recycling/Transfer station facility, performs general labor duties at a transfer station and completes tasks such as yard clean-up, fueling vehicles and equipment, general vehicle operation, general office maintenance and other related duties.     Starting pay range for this position is $17-$20 per hour.

The Area Sales Manager (ASM) participates in the development of the sales strategy and required actions to achieve their assigned market area’s revenue goals in total as well as by line of business ensuring profitable revenue growth and retention. The incumbent works with the Regional Sales Manager to coach, develop, and mentor market area sales professionals, primarily Territory Sales and Commercial Services Representatives, to ensure the execution of market area sales strategies.

The Administrative Office Specialist provides professional clerical and administrative support to the division by providing support to managers, employees, and customers, assisting in daily office needs, and managing the company’s general administrative activities. The incumbent supplies information to callers, maintains files, organizes and maintains schedules and appointments, generates standard reports, and produces correspondence.   The starting pay range for this position is $21 -$24 per hour. 

The Financial Analyst provides financial support and conducts high-level analysis of revenue, credit expenses, and overhead, while working with senior management to make critical decisions about investment funding, expense management, and provide accurate and data-based information on our profitability, solvency, stability, and liquidity. The incumbent will provide regional support including basic journal preparation, account reconciliations, audit analysis and response, along with monthly and quarterly tracking and reporting. 

The Maintenance Manager oversees preventative maintenance and repairs of fleet vehicles, provides direction of a team of diesel technicians, implements monitoring maintenance policies and procedures and ensures all repairs are performed in compliance with all company, federal and state regulations. Four Locations include: 2 locations in New Castle, DE, Townsend, DE, and Smyrna, DE.    

The Container Delivery Driver will be responsible for safely driving along customer routes to deliver and retrieve toters used by residential and commercial customers.

The Welder performs preventive maintenance, fabrication welding, refurbishes refuse containers and compactors, rehabilitates scuffed paint, installs decals and ensures accurate repair and replacement of components.
